Two billion RSD for crediting of underdeveloped regions - open competition announced by Ministry of Economy and Development Fund

Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the Development Fund of Serbia announced open competition yesterday (March 25, 2008) for the loans for enterprises and entrepreneurs in underdeveloped regions in total amount of 2 billion RSD.

The investors in 35 the least developed municipalities in Serbia can apply for the loans amounting between 500,000 and 2,500,000 RSD. The repayment period for these loans is up to seven years, annual interest rate is 1% and grace period is one year.

Interest rate for the credit users in 23 underdeveloped municipalities is 2%.

We have also announced an open competition for loans for the projects for making an innovations the new products in amount of 250m RSD - the State Secretary in the ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Verica Kalanović, announced yesterday at the press conference.
