Fifteen largest local exporters ship EUR 3.2 billion worth of goods by October 2016 – Fiat heading, Hesteels marks largest growth

The total value of the export of the 15 largest local exporters in the period from January till October 2016 amounted to EUR 3.2 billion, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Serbia is still heading the list, the Ministry of Finance reported.

FCA’s export amounted to EUR 929.8 million, followed by Hesteel’s EUR 280.2 million, with a 50% increase in the third quarter compared to the corresponding period of 2015.

Tigar Tyres has remained in third place with EUR 267.5 million worth of export, followed by the tobacco industry Philip Morris with EUR 188.5 million and Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) with EUR 187.7 million worth of goods exported to foreign markets.

HIP Petrohemija (EUR 163 million) and MK Group (EUR 158 million) follow.

Gorenje has placed eight with EUR 155.1 million, followed by Victoria Group (EUR 141.5 million) and Tetra Pak Production (EUR 139.2 million).


Yura Corporation placed 11th with EUR 131.4 million, followed by Hemofarm (EUR 128.2 million), Robert Bosch (EUR 123.9 million) and Leoni Wiring Systems from Prokuplje (EUR 123.7 million).

The last on the list of the top 15 Serbian exporters is Jugoimport SDPR with EUR 114.8 million worth of export made from January till October.
