The 2017 budget will be on the Government of Serbia's agenda for Tuesday, November 29, 2016, as Tanjug learns.

According to the law, the budget should be adopted by December 15, but, as Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic said earlier, it could happen before the set date, depending on the parliament's efficiency.

Vujovic earlier stated that the budget for the next your would be moderately developmental and that the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of 3% had been envisioned, along with a low inflation rate.

According to him, the budget deficit of 1.7% of the GDP, which will amount to RSD 4,400 billion, has been envisioned, whereas the growth of the GDP will be based on the growth of all production sectors and increased demand, and it will also be stimulated by export and direct investments.
