Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said last night that the next round of negotiations on the duty-free regime for certain types of merchandise between Serbia and the Eurasian Economic Union, among which were Fiat vehicles, had been scheduled for December 13-14 in Moscow.

He specified for B92 that Serbia had five additional products it wished to add to the list and that the matter was still being negotiated.

– I believe that we will have defined the contents of the agreement by then – Ljajic said.

The minister said that the Russian side would make its own demands and that he hoped that a compromise would be reached.

– It's certainly important for our car industry and for Fiat's business plan – Ljajic said.
