Businessmen, universities and NGOs joining to benefit community – Second Serbian Visions multicongress on November 26-27 in Belgrade
As reported by the CCIS, at the two day event in Belgrade, representatives of the civil society, institutes, organizations, universities and professional associations, as well as businessmen, will try to present their ideas and activities and reach the solution as to how to make the economy more efficient, the civil sector stronger, and the development of Serbia quicker.
Marko Cadez, president of the CCIS, and Martin Knapp, director executive of AHK Serbia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding defining the joint activities in organizing the event.
Cadez and Knapp pointed out that the biggest contribution of the Serbian Visions multicongress would be to bring together people from various fields to talk about human rights, economy, education, culture, healthcare, environmental protection, European integration, safety, innovation and many other segments comprising the vision of an improved Serbia.
This weekend event will encompass a total of 60 two-hour events (30 each day, from 10 am till 8 pm) – lectures, workshops, film projections, presentations, discussions etc, and everybody can attend free of charge, says the CCIS report.
Marko Cadez, president of the CCIS, pointed out that topics, models and concepts based on thorough research of social and economic changes would be discussed at the multicongress.
– Contacts established at an event such as this will prove to be very significant, as there will be around 60 organizations presenting their activities, knowledge and experience, as well as possibilities of contributing to the progress of the entire community with their responsibility and operations – Cadez said.
Martin Knapp, director executive of AHK Serbia, invited organizations to apply in order to present their activities, make new contacts and receive support.
The first Serbian Visions multicongress took place on May 16-17, 2015. This event brought together more than 3,500 guests. The participants were able, for the first time, to present their organizations’ activities, projects, ideas, visions and concepts they stood for. More than 5,000 guests are expected to attend this year.
The multicongress will be held at the Radisson Blu Old Mill hotel.
