The chairman of the MK Group, Miodrag Kostic, stated yesterday that the company would continue to invest in Slovenia, where it had invested EUR 40 million in the past year.

– When it comes to Slovenia, I see no barriers and I feel I'm welcome there – Kostic said to the press at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, where the Serbian-Slovenian business forum is being held.

He estimated that the political and business relations of Serbia and Slovenia were at their best in the past 20 years and invited companies from Serbia to invest in Slovenia, as that market, according to him, “is currently the best place for investments in the region”.

Kostic also invited businessmen from Slovenia to come to Serbia and said that Serbian spas could be interesting to invest in.

The MK Group has bought one of the most luxury hotels in Portoroz, the Kempinski Palace Hotel, and has also announced investments in the banking sector in Slovenia.
