"Northcliffe International" bought 25% of company "Infostud"

"Northcliffe International", the office of international corporation "Daily Mail and General Trust", has become a strategic partner of "Infostud" by purchasing 25% of the local Internet company. The purpose of the partnership is joint development and strengthening of Internet market in Serbia, and "Infostud" will still be run by the team of its founders who kept 75% of the company in their possession.

"Infostud" runs the leading web sites for employment, training and education in Serbia, which had nearly 12m visits in 2007. Web site www.infostud.com is one of the 10 most visited domestic web sites in the country (according to alexa.com service), while poslovi.infostud.com are on the top of the list of the most visited web sites for employment, through which more than 3,500 companies sought employers.

- "Daily Mail" is the corporation that has experience with running large number of web sites and other media all around the world, which is an important reason why we decided to enter this partnership. We felt that they really believe in "Infostud", that they share our vision about expansion of business, and that is the company with which we can establish good human and partnership relations - says Branislava Gajić, CEO of "Infostud".

"Daily Mail and General Trust" encompasses 150 companies in Europe, USA and Australia. The investment in "Infostud" is in accordance with the strategy of "Northcliffe International" for expansion in field of Internet business, especially in job advertising, and the partnership has been established through their Hungarian branch office "Lapcom kft" .
