Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has stated that around 400 workers more will be employed in Teklas by the end of next year.

During his tour of the factory, Vucic said that it was apparent that the second hall was ready, that the investors had bought an additional three hectares, and that it was being deliberated what to do with 33 hectares of land belonging to the FOPA factory, where other companies could be operating.

As he said, during this year's election campaign, there were claims that the property was valueless and that everything will be closed.

– From a place with nearly no activity, without any chance or hope, it has become of the most active places in Serbia's south – Vucic said and added that Surdulica and other parts of Serbia's south were to follow.
