BRNABIC: Software for electronic exchange of data form June 2017

Minister of Public Administration and Local Self Government Ana Brnabic stated on Tuesday, October 11, that the implementation of the software of electronic exchange data will start on June 1, 2017, in six state institutions, which will enable the citizens to get all the necessary documents in one place.

– Beginning with June 1 next year, the Law on the General Administrative Procedure, which regulates this, will start being implemented – Brnabic said for N1.

She said that the tender had been completed for the software, which will connect the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Central Registry of Compulsory Social insurance, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Tax Administration and the National Employment Service.

– We will soon reveal who has won the tender, and we will start connecting these six institutions by the end of the year – she said.

The minister said that all local self-governments will need to turn their record into an electronic form by the end of the year.

According to her, electronic services are one of the best tools for fighting corruption.
