Serbian artist candidate for British Griffin award
– Milenkovic's practice spans a wide range of media. Her work evokes surprising and diverse meanings, containing multiple layers – writes the Calvert Journal website.
The winner will have a three-month exhibition at the Griffin Gallery in London, as well as space, materials and support to create new works for the Open Studio event, to be organized following the closing of the exhibition.
In addition to Ana Milenkovic, Pallas Citroen, Cynthia Cruz, Olivia Kemp, Emma Papworth and Uesung Lee have made the shortlist.
These artists will be presenting their work at the Griffin Gallery between November 24 and December 23.
