Government of Serbia and Airbus sign memorandum of understanding

Minister of Defense Zoran Djordjevic has signed a memorandum of understanding with a representative of Airbus, expressing the mutual intent of the Government of Serbia and the company to cooperate on equipping the Serbian Air Force.

The memorandum of understanding is a coordinated expression of mutual intent on establishing a future cooperation in the area of equipping the Serbian Air Force and Air Defense and expanding the capacities of the Serbian aviation industry, the report says.

In addition to representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Serbian Armed Forces and the Airbus Group, the ceremony was attended by representative of the ministries of economy and finance, as well as ambassadors of France, Germany and Spain.
