Google presents new smartphone – Pixel designed to beat iPhone?

Google presented its new smartphone, Pixel, today, the first smartphone fully designed by the company and a direct competition to Apple's iPhone.

The new device was presented in San Francisco. The price of the basic model in the USA is USD 649, which is what the basic model of iPhone7 cost as well, and it can also be bought in Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Germany.

Pixel will be available in two sizes, just like iPhone7, but with identical characteristics, unlike Apple's device.

Pixel comes with the Google Assistant for browsing the internet and unlimited space for storing photographs. The quick battery loading (15 minutes) enables the device to be used for a full seven hours.
