Pribojska Banja gets sanatorium – Eparchy of Mileseva grants rehabilitation center

Following several years of inactivity, the Rehabilitation Center in Pribojska Banja, along with mineral water pools, will be reactivated. The center has been returned to the Eparchy of Mileseva in line with the Law on Restitution.

The agreement signed by the bishop of Budimlja and Niksic, Joanikije, the president of the municipality of Priboj, Lazar Rvovic and the director of the Health Center Uzice, Milos Bozovic, M.D, envision that the Eparchy should grant the first floor of the center for the needs of the healthcare sector for ten years, and the municipality of Priboj has obliged to equip the sanatorium.

The water in Pribojska Banja can be used in treating rheumatic, neuralgic, gynecologic and skin diseases, as well as post-traumatic and sports injuries. Its medicinal qualities were confirmed in Vienna back in late 19th century.
