Aleva conquering Russian market – Over EUR 1 million worth of goods exported in 2016

The food industry AD Aleva in Novi Knazevac was visited by 25 entrepreneurs from Russia, where they were presented with the companies potentials, following the tour of its production facilities. The company employs over 350 people and produces EUR 20 million worth of goods annually, over 40% of which is exported, with a considerable amount going to Russia.

Although paprika is the symbol of the Novi Knazevac factory, Aleva has developed its production program through simple and practical instant products, seasonings, dehydrated soups, spices and other products, which are competitive in the world market as well.

The Russian entrepreneurs headed by the company Fort Trade Food, Aleva's partner and distributor and one of the largest distributors of instant and dehydrated products, food concentrates, spices and canned products on the territory of the Russian Federation, had been invited by Aleva to visit the company.

This Russian company has been operating since 1995, and it distributes its partners' products to more than 110 cities through over 1,000 regional partners. Serbia was visited by owners of its sub-distributors from September 9 till 12.

– Our cooperation started a year and a half ago and we've managed to introduce half of Aleva's products to the Russian market. Our plan is to make all Aleva's products available in the Russian market in the next year, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, including Crimea – says the general manager of Fort Trade Food, Konstantin Polyevoy.


The Novi Knazevac facility produces around 150 products for local and foreign markets, and the deputy general manager of Aleva, Goran Aleksic, points out that they will export more then EUR 1 million worth of goods to Russia this year, and that the export to the Russian market will increase several times as soon as next year.

Aleksic adds that the Kulinat brand of seasonings has been very well received in the Russian market, as have been other groups of specialized spices and fruit preserves.
