Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated that the trade between Serbia and Hungary was increasing and announced new projects and cooperation in numerous areas.

Vucic said, following the meeting with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, that it had been agreed that the cooperation should improve in all areas and that a special work group with three to four members from each country would be formed.

– We need to analyze solutions in both countries and to implement those that have proven to be better – Vucic said and cited Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovic as an example, who will make a seven-day visit to Hungary in order to talk with his Hungarian colleagues on an operational level.

– We want to use a lot of their experiences in agriculture, have more fruit and vegetable processing factories and learn how to spend money more wisely. We can't just export raw materials, not even to Russia – Vucic said.

As well, Minister of Labor Aleksandar Vulin will deal with the Hungarian model of vouchers and seasonal jobs.

According to Vucic, the trade between the two countries is growing.

– In the first six months of this year, it grew thanks to numerous Hungarian companies exporting from Hungary to Serbia. The growth of Serbian export in the first half of the year amounted to 12.7% relative to last year – Vucic said.

At the same time, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban invited Serbian investors to invest in Hungary and make a profit.
