Boost of Bambi operations in first half of 2016 – Net profit RSD 882 million

Pozarevac-based confectionery manufacturer Bambi reported excellent results in the first half of 2016. The company, which operates under supervision of Mid Europa investment fund, recorded an increase in revenue of 18.5% to RSD 4.3 billion in the January-June period.

The operating profit jumped by 39.4% to RSD 981.5 million, whereas the net profit reached the record-setting RSD 882 million (a 58.1% jump), Wisebroker reports.

As reported earlier, Bambi has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting for September 9, where the squeeze-out for remaining minority stakes at the price of RSD 65,598 will be deliberated
