The Sevojno-based aluminum processor Impol Seval has reported its results from the first half of 2016, which point to a continuation of last year's high efficiency trend.

The production in the first six months rose by 5.1% to 31,252 tons, above all thanks to a higher output of prepainted coils and sheets by 11.3%. As in the preceding period, most of the production (up to 96%) was meant for sale in foreign markets (above all in Germany, Italy and Russia).

The product implementation amounted to 34,080 tons (a growth of 5.1%), dominated by cold-rolled products.

In the January-June period, an operating income of RSD 6.8 billion was made, which is lower by 4.6%, whereas the company's operating profit increased by 94.3% to RSD 730.4 million, due to destocking and lower cost of materials.

The company's net profit jumped by 144.7% to RSD 669.7 million, Wisebroker reports.

At the end of June, Impol Seval's loan debts amounted to EUR 25.2 million, relative to EUR 29.5 million at the end of 2015. The lowering was a result of the drop of short-term financial liabilities by EUR 4.3 million. In the same period, a fall of weighted interest rate from 3.78% to 3.15% was recorded.

Impol is one of the greatest gainers at the Belgrade Stock Exchange in 2016, considering the stock price increase of 87.1% in this period.
