After three weeks of vacation, the production in Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in Kragujevac will start again on Monday, August 22.
The production of Fiat 500L models will continue in two shifts, because the Kragujevac company has, due to weakened presence in the foreign market, canceled the third shift and let go between 700 and 750 workers.
The production in subcontractors in Grosnica Industrial Zone will continue this Monday as well, namely,
Magneti Marelli, Johnson Control Automotive,
Sigit,
PMC and HTL, which supply the parent company with car components.
These factories will also continue operating with fewer workers, since between 300 and 400 employees have been let go.
