– We continued to work on the realization of our transformation program in the first half of 2016 as well. This is apparent from our capital ratio, which we've significantly increased since the beginning of the year. The improvement of our capital basis is still the top priority – explained Karl Sevelda, CEO of RBI.

The RBI report adds that, in the first six months of 2016, the drop in net interest income by 13% (EUR 226 million) was recorded and that it amounted to EUR 1.455 billion.
