The former minister of economy, Zeljko Sertic, will be put in charge of running the Development Agency of Serbia, Tanjug learns unofficially.
His responsibility will be to stimulate investments and cooperate closely with foreigners willing to invest in Serbia.
DAS was founded earlier this year, after SIEPA and the National Agency for Regional Development (NARD) were closed.
The new agency took over the entirety of around 125 projects of both former agencies in early January.
The current director of DAS, Milos Petrovic, will move to another position.
