Total foreign-exchange reserves in June EUR 10.99 billion

The total foreign-exchange reserves at the end of June amounted to EUR 10.99 billion, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) reported on Monday, August 1.

The June issue of the Statistical Bulletin writes that the foreign-exchange reserves of the NBS in that month amounted to EUR 9.29 billion, and of other banks EUR 1.7 billion. Of these, around EUR 706 million was in gold.

According to the publication, the share of gold reserves increased from EUR 593.8 million to around EUR 706 million from January till June.

The foreign-exchange reserves of the NBS in January amounted to EUR 10.1 billion, and in June EUR 9.29 billion, whereas the total foreign-exchange reserves in January amounted to EUR 11.56 billion, and in June EUR 10.99 billion.
