Possibility of cooperation between Chinese companies and MSC Bor
– I am here to fulfill my first task, which is to consider the form of cooperation between Hesteel and MSC Bor and too have talks about mutual operations in mining – the Chinese ambassador said.
He reminded in his statement for Tanjug that the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, had given a clear task to the embassy after his recent visit to Serbia, to make the cooperation with Serbia in all areas fundamental.
The general manager of MSC Bor, Blagoje Spaskovski, agreed with the ambassador of China that the friendly relations of the two countries should result in economic cooperation profitable for both countries.
– We talked about the relationship between MSC Bor and Zelezara Smederevo, more precisely, about how Zelezara could use Bor's slag and other by-products. The talks will continue and deepen on an expert basis, with the support of both governments. As well, we talked about the cooperation in the area of mining and increasing the production in mining in the way that is profitable for both countries – Spaskovski emphasized.
Following the talks with the management of MSC Bor, the delegation took a tour of the new smelter and the sulfuric acid factory.
