Serbia with largest investments in equipment "Biesse" in the world - furniture export program, within next two years, twice as big

Representatives of Italian company "Biesse", which is one of the leading manufacturers of wood-processing machines in the world, claim that their researches showed that Serbia would triple the furniture export program within next two years.

Commercial Manager of "Biesse" for East Europe, Željko Studen, supported such claim with the data that show that Serbia invests 1m EUR in import of "Biesse" equipment every month.

- Serbian industry experienced business expansion in the last 10 years. Our annual scope of sales on that market ranges between 10 and 12m EUR - said Studen and added, for the sake of comparison, that monthly export of "Biesse" machines to the market of Italy amounted up to 4m EUR.

He added that, on the rank-list of that company, Serbia was the first in the world in volume of investments in "Biesse" equipment per capita.
