Business and working meeting of exporters held in Novi Sad – Serbia’s treasury
Organized by the Agency for Contemporary Development “Interart” from Novi Sad, the Business and working meeting of exporters “Serbia’s Treasury“ was held in Sports and Business Center “Vojvodina” on July 5.
The meeting of exporters of Serbia was opened by the Minister of Finance of Serbia, Mlađan Dinkić, who said that the companies in Serbia had realized 52% bigger export in the first five months of 2005 than in 2004. Dinkić announced that the Government of Serbia would support opening of free trade zones, so that the companies that import equipment worth over 2 million CSD would have to pay duty of only 1%.

Organizer of "Serbia’s Treasury", Mr. Đorđe Mojić, said that the Meeting of exporters had been success and that the meeting had been attended by National Bank of Serbia, SMECA, USAID, ADF, GTZ, Faculty of Agriculture, Republic Ministry of Commerce and others. The conclusion of this working and business meeting is that the economic chance of Serbia lies in establishment of clusters.
