400 new parking spaces in New Belgrade by mid-August

- So far, 300 parking spaces have been finished from the intersection of the Boulevard and Milentija Popovica St, and the construction of additional 400 places is being carried out between the intersections of the Boulevard with Spanskih Boraca St. and Umetnosti Blvd. The construction of new parking spaces along the span of Zorana Djindjica Blvd from Umetnosti Blvd, Spanskih boraca St. and Omladinskih Brigada St. is also planned – says Novica Micevic, coordinator at the Traffic Department of the City of Belgrade for eKapija.

The goal is, as emphasized for eKapija by Dusan Rafailovic, secretary at the Department, to have 800 parking spaces in New Belgrade along Zorana Djindjica Blvd and another 100 places at the Enjub shopping mall.

The number of spaces is still not sufficient for New Belgrade. As Micevic says, it is not known so far how many parking spaces this part of Belgrade has precisely, since there are parking places in the streets and outside them.
