Annual inflation in Serbia in May – 0.7%

Consumer prices in Serbia in May were 0.1% higher than in April, whereas the annual inflation was 0.7%, reported the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Compared to December last year, the inflation in May was 0.8%.

The price of transport in May increased by 0.4% relative to April, of food, non-alcoholic drinks, healthcare, clothing and footwear by 0.2% each, and the prices of furniture and flat maintenance increased by 0.1%.

The prices of communication and education decreased by 0.3%, of recreation and culture by 0.2%, of rent, water, electric energy, gas and other fuels, alcoholic drinks and tobacco, restaurants and hotels by 0.1% each.
