London investment fund Frontier is interested in Zemun pharmaceutical manufacturer Galenika, and Serbian businessman Toplica Spasojevic has been selected to be the business mediator. According to Blic, Frontier will try, through Spasojevic, to get the state-owned pharmaceutical company for the second time.

As the newspaper informs, Frontier was interested in buying Galenika back in 2013, when the Government put it on sale through public tender, but gave up the purchase.

Toplica Spasojevic confirmed for Blic that he had helped in this affair and added that “the main task of each businessman is to help his own country and to draw in serious companies that could aid the Serbian economy”.

The tender documents for the purchase of Galenika have been bought by another three companies – Sopharm form Bulgaria, Cadilapharm from India and KJK Capital investment fund from Finland.
