ICD from Dubai interested in building a hotel in Sutomore

This was confirmed for“Pobjeda” by Nikola Papan, the owner of the location between Racand the Green belt in Sutomore, where the hotel is supposed to be built.

- Getting the building permit for the construction of the hotel and the promotion of our conceptual design for “Papan resort” have drawn interest and we are now negotiating with the investors from Dubai who have bought “Porto Montenegro”. I expect to reach an agreement satisfactory to both parties – said Papan.

He reminds that this is the first building permit for a five-star hotel in the Ulcinj-Budva area.

It will be located on the coast itself, while the project was designed by the Belgrade architect Zoran Petrovic.

- When viewed from the sea,the future hotel resembles a ship. When viewed from the main road, it resembles a seagull with its wings spread – explained Papan, adding that the conceptual design was featured at the Montengro booth at the Milan Fair.

The object will have over1.7 thousand km2, eight exclusive apartments, four dependances, a spa center, an open air pool and other content,which will improve the touristic offer of that part of the coast.

Depending on the outcome of the negotiations with the interested investors, the construction commencement date will become known. It is planned for the hotel to be finished by the end of the next year.
