South Korean entrepreneurs interested in co-operating with Serbian companies – Wines, honey and bee glue from Serbia especially interesting

South Korean entrepreneurs are interested in co-operatingwith Serbian companies in areas of industry, mining and agriculture, it wassaid today at the business meeting between South Korean and Serbian companiesin Belgrade. The meeting was attended by the representatives of 13 South Koreancompanies, mostly from the metal industry.

- Korean food distributors are especially interested in wines,honey, bee glue and certain cultures not grown in Korea, which have so far beenimported from Latin America – said the advisor of Korea Trade-Investment PromotionAgency – KOTRA, Milan Rajic.

Rajic said that the biggest problem the Serbian companiesface when exporting to South Korea is how to secure the necessary quantities.The solution to this is that the producers join forces.

- Association of Metallurgy in the Chamber of Commerce andIndustry of Serbia has suggested for which Serbian companies it might be ofinterest to work together with the Korean companies and we expect that certainagreements will soon be signed – said Nikola Jankovic, Head of BilateralCooperation Center in CCIS.

He said that CCIS’s priority is the internationalization ofeconomy, so that Serbian companies may enter other markets as well.
