Belgrade's Lasta is looking for an owner - Ministry of economy is preparing documentation for privatization
For years, companies from several countries have been considering Lasta, and British Ariva has been among them. A step towards "company fix " for a new customer is proved by signed collective bragain - considerably more more strict than the last one.
- We're going towards privatization. Collective bargain with workers more restrictive than the previous one was signed. They are aware of reality and economic problems. We are preparing documentation and we will soon announce a call for privatization. There are interested from Spain, Sweden, the Arabs and the British are considering purchase. They appear, come, talk. I think we will very soon announce privatization of Lasta - Dragan Stevanovic, state secretary in the Ministry of economy, says.
