Inflation in Serbia in April was 0.4%, corresponding with the percentage by which the consumers prices were increased, and as opposed to March, the Republic Bureau of Statistics stated today.
When compared to April last year, the prices also rose by 0.4%, and when compared to December 2015, the increase was 0.8%.
In April this year clothes and footwear got more expensive (2.1%), transport (1.3%), the services of recreation and culture (1%), food and non-alcoholic drinks (0.4%), communications (0.2%), alcoholic drinks, tobacco, furniture and the maintenance of appartments (0.1%).
Rents, water consumption, electricity, gas and other fuels got cheaper (0.5%), as well as the services of education (0.2%).
