Movement of Socialists leader Aleksandar Vulin said on Monday that personnel solutions were not important but rather the policy of the government. Asked if he was having talks with the Progressives leader and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić on a seat in the new government, the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs in the outgoing government said that they have been talking ever since they first formed a coalition.

Vulin did not rebut the information published by the daily Blic that he would head the Defense Ministry, but said that this was completely irrelevant.

Construction Minister Zorana Mihajlović also said that the government’s performance is far more important than its makeup.

- It is only natural that there are speculations following elections. We are doing our job until a new government is formed – she stressed, adding that infrastructure projects know no elections.

Previous ministers’ performance will be one of the main criteria in appointing the government, while changes in its makeup are inevitable.

Aleksandar Vučić said on Monday that he would replace at least six ministers.

- Some people will continue to do their job, and many won’t – said Vučić, explaining that “it is always good to have fresh blood.”
