Germans help reconstruction of Ribare water spring near Jagodina - Works valued at RSD 553.5 million

An agreement on the reconstruction and expansion of the water spring Ribare that supplies Jagodina and neighboring villages with drinking water was signed Sunday (10 April 2016) in the City Hall of Jagodina. This project is valued at RSD 553.5 million and will be financed with the proceeds of a loan extended by the German KfW Bank and a RSD 150 million donation from the German government.

Works will be carried out by Jedinstvo from Sevojno, which was selected by KfW Bank to do the job.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Dragan Markovic Palma, the president of the City Assembly, Michael Myer, a representative of KfW Bank, Dragan Lukic, the director of the Standard public company in Jagodina, Vladimir Jovicic, the chief engineer of SETEK, and Sinisa Zoric, the director of Jedinstvo.

Jagodina annually produces 7,400,000 liters of water.
