Kragujevac-based Euroheat is planning construction of new department for production of plate and shell and tube heat exchangers - 100 new vacancies in the next three years

Kragujevac-basedEuroheat, the finalist of this year`s "Aurea" award which our portalassigns, is planning by the end of the year, the construction of a new plantfor the production of plate and shell and tube heat exchangers. As the demandfor this innovative product is growing, the existing hall is already too smallfor them them and that they are planning to increase production sigificantly.

Asthey communicated for eKapija it will be three times larger plant which in thenext two or three years will hire 100 people.

- Until new hall is ready, we are renting premises of some of our subcontractors and thus we will meet all customer requirements. By the end of the year, new press from China is coming, which we could not buy anywhere in the region. New press will facilitate the business to large extent, because we will not have to go to Italy to do pressing - Dragan Milosavljevic from the " Euroheat said.
Kragujevac-based company, along with another from Norway, is the only manufacturer of plate and shell and tube heat exchangers. Their advantage over Scandinavian competitor, as they say, is the same quality but lower price. They proudly outline that this is a product developed by domestic experts. A key reason to develop this product is the moment when they covered the region with ordinary heat exchangers and they had to start innovations. They set up the company in Russia through which 90 % of exports goes through. In addition to the region, which they have covered long since, they export to Belgium, Italy, France. The next major goal is Germany. In cooperation with a partner, they will soon launch their products .

Compared to ordinary heat exchangers, plate-and-shell and tube have no seals , but inner plates are welded together whichenables them to work in a broad range of temperatures and under high pressures. This type of heat exchangers actually represents an ideal combination ofplate and shell and tube - tube heat exchangers, combining the best features ofboth - efficiency level and small dimensions of plate heat exchanger, with safetyand resistance to high temperatures and pressure of tube shell of heat exchangers pipes.

-Our heat exchangers can be found inheating plants in Bor and Majdanpek . These are heat exchangers that godirectly to a boiler. So far , in Serbia foreign heaters were usually used , because therewere no local ones . Production is very expensive, and all the knowledge is in toolsused in production of plates and tires.It takes a lot of courage and money - Milosavljevic says.

Euroheat is constantly working on innovations. In order to strengthen itscompetitiveness, they implemented another innovation. It is speed exchangerscleaning which was upgraded upon a request from Sweden.

Implementation and efficiency

Plate-and- shell and tube heat exchangers are commonly used in thermal power plants where so far most commonly used were pipe exchangers which occupy a huge space. Heat exchangers designed by Euroheat, although large, are smaller in size, occupying less space, and efficiency is much higher than that of the pipe and is 98.4 %.

All technical improvements are achieved while reducing production costs and product prices, which, together with revised technical specifications increase the competitiveness on the market.
