Zepter International has announced in a release that it took over the oldest German knife factory Felix from Solingen for EUR 12 million.

The takeover of this factory began back in 2012, and the Swiss company Zepter has recently become the owner of this knife manufacturer.

Knifes and other products from the factory in Solingen are exported to more than 60 countries worldwide.

This factory was established by Karl Gustav Felix in 1843 as a small family blacksmith shop which quickly grew into one of the most famous knife factories in the world.

All knifes at this factory are made by hand and their manufacture includes 45 different phases.
