Net profit of KBC group increased by 14% - 2.57 billion EUR in first 9 months of year 2007
Belgian KBC group, which has recently bought Serbian A Bank, realized net profit in amount of 2.57 billion EUR in the first 9 months of year 2007.
In comparison with the same period in 2006, net profit grew by 14%.
- The third quarter of year 2007 shows exceptionally good results. Profit grew by 5% against the previous quarter and infavorable climate on credit market had limited influence on our investments insured by mortgages - said Andre Bergen, President of KBC group.
