Purchasing power of Serbia puts it on 30th place in Europe
Serbia is on the 30th place in Europe with purchasing power amounting to 3,227 EUR per capita. European average, according to the data of Austrian Market research Center GfK, amounts to about 12,000 EUR per capita.
The richest is Switzerland with more than 27,500 EUR per capita. It is followed by Luxembourg, Norway and Ireland. Slovenia is the 20th with 8,851 EUR, while Hungary is on the 24th place with 5,462 EUR per capita.
Purchasing power of Croatian citizens amount to 4,565 EUR per capita, which puts this country on the 29th place. Montenegro is the 34th with 2,338 EUR, while Bosnia and Herzegovina is ranked 36th with 2,033 EUR.
The poorest of 40 countries from the list is Moldova with 685 EUR per capita.
