Relations between Turkey and Serbia are good, especially in the field of economics, Turkish Ambassador in Belgrade Mehmet Kemal Bozay said and added that Turkish investors saw Serbia as a good place and competitive market.

- We have a big investment in Nis, where we are going to open a factory that will employ 2,000 people. There is another investment - a factory in Vladicin Han where 500 people should get a job - he said and added that tourism was another thing connecting Turkey and Serbia.

Bozay underlined that most citizens of Turkey use Corridor XI in transit from Western Europe throughout the whole year.

According to him, Serbian and Turkish politicians are "very dedicated to good relations" and the cooperation between the diplomatic corps of the two countries is excellent despite their opposing opinions on the independence of Kosovo.
