Belgrade gets new Master Plan after 13 years - Makisko Polje and Ada Huja as new centers of commercial and residential development
Mali explained that the Master Plan would significantly contribute to clearer defining of infrastructure, on the basis of which building permits should be issued faster.
The Master Plan and 19 zoning ordinances will be placed before the aldermen of Belgrade on Monday, said Mali.
- According to the Master Plan, which defines nine new industrial zones on the city outskirts, the new centers of commercial and residential development will be Makisko Polje and Ada Huja - he noted.
- Over 50% of the city surface is planned to be given a direct purpose, meaning that making new zoning ordinances will no longer be needed - the mayor underlined.
According to him, the plan is also to move freight traffic away from the city center, which will be made possible with the construction of bypass and metro.
