Invitation to apply for start-up and innovative loans in ICT sector on March 7th

The Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications announced that it would issue a public call for applications from information-communication technology (ICT) companies in Serbia for start-up and innovative loans in 2016 on March 7th.
Start-up loans will be approved to companies registered in the previous two years, while innovative loans are intended for business entities that were registered more than two years ago, the ministry specified and added that start-up and innovative loans would be granted for projects aimed at developing a new or an existing product or service in the ICT sector - Innovative project.

Proceeds of these loans can be used only to procure equipment that cannot be more than five years old, software, raw materials, as well as to cover the expenses of employees working on the development of innovative project.

Loans range from 300,000 to 1.5 million dinars for entrepreneurs and from 500,000 to 3 million dinars for juristic persons. The loan repayment period is up to four years, while the interest rate is 1% on an annual level.
