Five Serbian companies in elite society – first Balkan Blue-Chip index DJ STOXX Balkan 50
Leading index provider in Europe STOXX Ltd. Expanded its index list on November, 5th, 2007 by launching the first Balkan Blue-Chip index DJ STOXX Balkan 50, in which Serbia is presented through Komercijalna bank, Metals bank, AIK bank, Agrobanka and “Energorpojekt”.
It is a matter of an index that follows up performance of 50 biggest companies in Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, and Turkey which allows significant participation of all 8 countries in the index. Also, in this way the attention of world investment public in brought to the financial market of the Balkan and allows them participation in economic development of this region, as it was stated in the announcement of the Belgrade’s stock exchange.
