Kragujevac offers land for rent free of charge to investors who hire new workers

In order to increase the competitiveness and improve the business environment, the local self-government in Kragujevac will be offering land for rent free of charge to investors who decide to employ new workers.
Dalibor Jekic, a member of the City Council in charge of economy, says that the preparation of the first study on the allotment of city land for rent free of charge to investors, which, among other things, implies the creation of about 100 new jobs.
According to Dalibor Jekic, the opening of new industrial zone should attract new investors and create conditions to reduce unemployment rate in Kragujevac.
One of the activities through which the local self-government is trying to decrease the unemployment rate is the program of incentives for starting own business. For that purpose, RSD 8.8 million will be set aside from the city budget, while RSD 1.2 million is going to be invested in the development of rural tourism.
