Italian firms eye Port of Bar
Confindustria officials, who were received yesterday by Montenegrin Minister of Transportation and Maritime Affairs Ivan Brajovic, advocated a boost of cooperation with transportation companies in Montenegro, stressing they were particularly interested in Luka Bar because of its geostrategical position and capacity in the chain of transportation and logistics, the web portal reports.
About 150,000 companies are currently under the patronage of Confindustria.
The shares in Luka Bar are also interesting to Serbia, given that Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said late last year that Serbia was considering the acquisition of that port, a decision on which would be made after a serious analysis.
