The Customs Administration announced Friday, January 29 that Serbia would start applying the New Computerized Transit System (NTCS) even across national borders at midnight on 1 February 2016, in line with the decision of the European Commission.
As noted, due to work on the creation of technical preconditions for aforementioned start of application, the common transit system will not be available between the midnight and 10 AM, while the national transit system won't be working from 7 AM to 10 AM.

It was also stressed that this was a project of national importance and that the Customs Administration was taking all necessary measures to ensure smooth functioning with all 34 member countries.
