"Radio Obrenovac" on auction on December 14

Privatization Agency has announced public invitation for privatization of "Radio Obrenovac" on the auction that will be held on December 14 in Belgrade.

Value of 70% of assets that will be privatized is estimated to 1.108m RSD, that is, 14,349 EUR. Starting price amounts to 222,000 RSD and minimal investment is 61,000 RSD.

"Radio Obrenovac" has no license for regional broadcasting, but open competition for use of local frequencies has not been finished yet.

Deadline for privatization of media expires on December 31, 2007. The records of the Privatization Agency contain more than 65 RTV stations, only 5 of which have been sold so far.
