Turkish investor invests in Serbian fruit processing industry

The Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of Serbia, communicated on Thursday, January 28, 2016, that a Turkish investor and fruit juices producer with developed distribution network in the world decided to build fruit and fruit juices processing plant in Serbia.

As announced, ambassador of Turkey in Serbia, Mehmet Kemal Bozaj with whom she discussed investment plans of Turkey in Serbia in fruit processing industry, informed the minister of agriculture and environmental protection, Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic on this decision .

It was added that during the meeting, minister of ambassador outlined the importance of good relations between Serbia and Turkey at all levels which results in significant investments in Serbian agriculture.

It was concluded at the meeting that Serbia produces significant fruit quantities but that there are unexploited potentials for increase as well as that, apart from tradition in fruit industry and fair climate conditions, advantage of Serbia is also in knowledge and experience in production of fruit and fruit juices so every new investment in processing fruit capacities in Serbia is more than welcomed.
