Vojvodina to invest 18m EUR in construction of 45 units of high technology and new materials in 2008
(Bojan Pajtić)
President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić, announced yesterday (October 25, 2007) that the province would invest 18m EUR in construction of new units of high technology and new materials in 2008.
- We've opened 37 units this year and we plan to open another 45 next year, which would be situated in every municipality in Vojvodina and they would significantly decrease unemployment rate - said Pajtić at the celebration in the premises of the Executive Council of Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
Managers of 15 Vojvodina-based companies that obtained high-technology units this year have signed contracts on distribution of products with Pajtić.
New production units have been financed by the Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technological Development. Products from these units will be donated to medical institutions, social care institutions, schools and other users defined as priority by the Secretariat.
