Turkish Aster textile buys El Cegar plant in Nis for EUR 1,5 m - Until 2018, 2000 employees from Nis will produce clothes
Turkish investor bought on Wednesday at the auction EI Cegar for EUR 1,5 m. It will develop textile plant Aster there which will immediately hire 500 people and 2000 of people from Nis by 2018.
The mayor of Nis, Zoran Perisic announced the news at the New Year’s reception at the City house as a New Year’s card to citizens for. The plant, when it develops its business completely, is planning to export goods totaling EUR 50 m.
The company is at the list of seven companies where the government will assign incentives of EUR 26,5 m in the next three years . The decision is a part of conclusion of the Government of Serbia on assignment of incentives for seven investors which will enable opening of at least 6.042 vacancies.
