Branko Kovacevic, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), said that electricity price would not have to go up if the EPS collected the debts.
- If the Electric Power Company of Serbia finds a way to collect all the debts from large industrial consumers (the economy sector owes EUR 165 million for electricity) and consumers in Kosovo and Metohia, who have not been paying electricity bills since World War II, and to charge for all stolen electricity, there will be no need for any increase, although it is called for by the MoU signed with the IMF - Kovacevic told the daily Politika.

He said that the decision on whether to increase the price of electricity in 2016 would be made by the Government in agreement with the Energy Ministry, adding that the green light must also be given by the Energy Agency.
