As of January 3, Red Wings to fly from Kaluga to Nis

Spokesman of the airport, Jelena Galanova says for Sputnik Srbija that as for now two flights at Kaluga-Nis are planned in early January.

- These flights are mainly for kids the governor mentioned. Apart from that, a few tens of tickets is in free sale – Galanova outlined.

Red Wings will fly by Sukhoi Superjet 100 planes.

- At the moment, we are looking for tourist routes which would be interesting for citizens of Kaluga since airport has been closed for 13 years. It started operations in May this year. We think Serbia could become an attractive destination for us because of visa-free regime and ski centers. If the first flights turn out to be successful, we will be ready for negotiations on continuing charter flights.

At the moment, international airport in Kaluga carries out flights to Sankt-Petersburg, Sochi, as well as charter flights for German town, Brownschweig.

City of Kaluga is 160 km from Moscow and has 350 thousand people.
